Our Beliefs
At the Celestial Church of Christ (CCC), our faith is rooted in the teachings of Jesus Christ and guided by the divine revelations given to our founder, Pastor Samuel Bilehou Joseph Oshoffa. Our beliefs are centered on the following core doctrines:
- The Trinity
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three distinct persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. This Holy Trinity is the foundation of our faith, guiding our worship and relationship with God. - Salvation Through Jesus Christ
We believe that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, is the Savior of the world. Through His death and resurrection, He offers salvation to all who believe in Him. Salvation is a gift of grace, accessible to all who confess their sins and accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. - The Holy Spirit
We believe in the active presence of the Holy Spirit in the lives of believers. The Holy Spirit empowers us to live holy lives, guides us in truth, and bestows spiritual gifts for the edification of the Church. - Divine Revelation and Prophecy
We believe that God continues to speak to His people through divine revelations, visions, and prophecies. These revelations are given for the guidance, correction, and edification of the Church, and they must align with the teachings of the Bible. - The Authority of Scripture
We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God and the ultimate authority in all matters of faith and practice. It serves as a guide for our daily lives, instructing us in righteousness and revealing God’s plan for humanity. - Holiness and Sanctification
We believe in the call to live a life of holiness, set apart for God’s purposes. Sanctification is a continuous process of spiritual growth, enabled by the Holy Spirit, as we strive to reflect the character of Christ in our thoughts, words, and actions. - Worship and Sacraments
We believe in the importance of regular worship, prayer, and the observance of sacraments such as Baptism, Holy Communion, and the Washing of Feet. These practices are outward expressions of our faith and devotion to God. - Angelic Ministry and Spiritual Warfare
We believe in the existence of angels who serve as messengers and protectors sent by God. We also acknowledge the reality of spiritual warfare, where believers must stand firm against the forces of darkness through prayer, fasting, and reliance on God’s power. - The Second Coming of Christ
We believe in the imminent return of Jesus Christ to judge the living and the dead. His Second Coming will bring the fulfillment of God’s Kingdom, where righteousness will prevail, and believers will dwell with God eternally. - Love and Community
We believe that love is the greatest commandment, as taught by Jesus Christ. We are called to love God with all our hearts and to love our neighbors as ourselves. The Church is a community of believers, united in love, support, and service to one another and the world.
These beliefs shape our worship, guide our actions, and define our mission as a Church. We are committed to living out these truths in our daily lives, as we seek to glorify God and advance His Kingdom on earth.
